Designing a website may appear to be a very daunting thing; you may be wondering where to start. Here are a few ideas that will hopefully get those cogs turning:
- What is the main objective of your site (e.g. to advertise product/business, to present information)?
- Who is your target market?
- Do you have any corporate colours (colours that represent your business)?
- Do you have any ideas about the colour scheme of your site?
- Do you have any suggested fonts?
- Do you have a logo? If not, would you like us to create one for you?
- Have you viewed any other websites to gain ideas from? If so, make a list.
- Roughly how many pages do you want your site to be?
- What do you want on each page?
- Do you want Flash animations or Forms on certain pages?
- Will you need a hit counter (records the number of people that visit the site)?
- When completed, how often does the site need to be updated?
- What is your budget?
- Do you have any deadlines for the website to be launched by?
- Will you need search engine submission?
- Will you need your e-mail forwarding setting up?
